We are delighted to invite you to a special HDR UK Text Analytics workshop on 12 March 2021 where you will have the unique opportunity to learn more about using text analytics and natural language processing in your research.
Despite clear benefits and opportunities, gaining access to unstructured data for research remains a major challenge. The HDR UK National Text analytics Project funded by HDR UK, is helping to build the UK's natural language processing community for healthcare by making available shared tools, methods and datasets across the NHS, creating richer, more useful clinical information to improve healthcare. At this one-day workshop, you will hear from data custodians and other experts about what the key issues are around data access and how they are working with researchers to make data more available. Researchers and clinicians across the UK will demonstrate some of the tools that have been developed and you will hear how natural language processing has been instrumental in research for patient benefit.
The online workshop will be of interest to researchers and clinicians, including those working in HDR UK Hubs and Alliances, who want to know more about how they can use text analytics in their research.
Please register to join the meeting Registered attendees will receive further information and the link to join closer to the day.
If you have any questions, please get in contact with Natalie Fitzpatrick, HDR UK Phenomics Programme Manager n.fitzpatrick@ucl.ac.uk.
