David Ramlakhan

David Ramlakhan has been working in the NHS since 1987. He had to bide his time for the arrival of computer networks and then began his career in System Administration. David was lucky to find a job where he was paid to pursue his hobbies, and thus gained a lot of knowledge about operating systems, networks and clinical applications. Although much of that knowledge is a little dated, the associated wisdom remains, and David is now working as the Data Discovery and Sharing Manager at UCLH. The principal purpose of the post is to enable clinical researchers to gain access to data collected in clinical practice at UCLH. Over the last year, David has been migrating data from legacy clinical systems into an Archive datastore held in the EMAP environment.
