UCL saves £500k & 400 plus trees with Warpit!

Last Month UCL officially reached the landmark of £500k in total savings from use of Warpit, UCL’s internal reuse platform. UCL is one of only three organisations to do so.
UCL pushed into the £500K club in style, off the back of August generating the highest savings in a single month of all time - a record £32,632 saved. UCL began using Warpit back in 2012, and usage and savings have risen year on year, as the below graph shows savings (£ Y axis) trends:
Helping the environment
This reuse has also meant UCL has avoided over 51 Tonnes of waste, and saved 300 Tonnes of CO2 emissions – which is equivalent of planting 400+ trees.
