6 October 2016

Student Eats are currently accepting applications for establishing a food buying group, a veg bag scheme, a preserve making group or a farmers’ market.

Student Eats

NUS Student Eats is one of 31 projects funded and supported by Our Bright Future, a £33 million programme funded by the Big Lottery Fund and run by a consortium of eight organisations which is led by The Wildlife Trusts.

Our Bright Future aims to tackle three big challenges facing society today - a lack of social cohesion, a lack of opportunities for young people and vulnerability to climate change.

Student Eats helps students create food based enterprises, starting with small projects right the way to fully fledged businesses based around local food. They've partnered with the Soil Association, Sustain and the Plunkett Foundation to ensure your enterprises will be successful.
