UCL has renewed its corporate membership of the London Wildlife Trust (LWT) for a fourth year. UCL was the first university to sign up for corporate membership of the charity and is delighted to continue this partnership.

Four years ago UCL become the first university to sign up for corporate membership of LWT, and since then, we've worked with the charity on a number of projects, including the development of a biodiversity 'kit of parts' guide which has informed the design of several of UCL's sustainable roof plans.

This approach will result in more than doubling the size of UCL's sustainable roof habitats over the next few years.

Being a member also gives us access to exciting opportunities including volunteering, access to publications, invitations to London Wildlife Trust events, and keeps us up-to-date with the latest biodiversity initiatives in across London.

"We are delighted to continue our membership with the London Wildlife Trust. Our estate is a priority habitat in London for biodiversity and we are continuing to make improvements, with the help of LWT, throughout our campus to ensure we do our bit for nature"

- Evan Landy, UCL Sustainability Officer
