UCL GeogSoc, UCL Conservation Group and the Department of Geography present the Urban Birder, David Lindo speaking on Tales from Concrete Jungles

A unique perspective of wildlife from his many years of exploring nature in cities.

David Lindo is a broadcaster, writer, naturalist and tour leader and best known for being an urban bird fanatic. Born and raised in London, he is a huge advocate of connecting city dwellers with urban wildlife and works tirelessly to raise awareness of the many species which share our towns and cities around the world. He was recently voted the 7th most influential person in wildlife by BBC Wildlife Magazine.

David is a regular TV and radio presenter on the BBC, featuring frequently on shows such as Springwatch and The One Show. He leads wildlife tours around the globe and is the author of several books on urban birds. He’s a fellow member of the International League of Conservation Writers and founder of both ‘Vote National Bird Campaign’ and the Tower 42 Bird Study Group – who regularly ascend to the top of London to record migrating bird’s coming and going from the UK.
