UCLU Green Economy Society invites you to join them, as their guest speaker Debbie Bird, Global Sustainable Business Manager at Unilever, speaks about Unilever's Sustainable Living Plan. Come along to learn about how a multi-national corporation embeds sustainability into its core function.

What is Unilever?

Unilever is the world's third largest consumer goods company alongside P&G and Nestlé. It owns over 400 brands focusing on 13 brands with sales over 1 billion, including Ben & Jerry's, Dove, Hellmans and Lipton.

Unilever and sustainability

Unilever has been praised for its strong environmental strategy, with the core goal of decoupling its environmental impact from its growth. They aim to half the environmental footprint of their products over the next 10 years to help 1 billion people improve their health and well-being, sourcing all of its agricultural raw materials sustainably.
