The UCL Sustainability Team drives forward the university's key sustainability aims. We work with the UCL community to embed sustainability into research, buildings and behaviours at UCL, and beyond. Our work improves sustainability literacy, increases efficiency, saves money and helps create more pleasant spaces to work and study.
UCL has been awarded a 'First Class' award by People & Planet's University League which ranks UK universities on their environmental and ethical performance.
UCL's Environmental Sustainability Management System (ESMS) has been awarded an EcoCampus Platinum & ISO14001 certification in recognition of the University's commitment to reducing its impact on the environment and in integrating sustainability into its daily services and activities. For more details on UCL's ESMS system, follow this link to our ESMS Moodle Course.
