'(Un)equal Lives, (Un)equal Outcomes in the UK: Addressing Societal Inequalities' [closed]
Funding is available for £10,000 for projects focused on inequalities in the UK. This special initiative call seeks to understand ‘what works where and why’ to take steps toward more equal futures.
16 September 2024
Project proposals are asked to address the foundations of societal inequalities in the UK, exploring their implications (and outcomes) at any or all levels and, critically, identifying responses or solutions to address these - 'what works' locally or systemically.
The list below provides examples of the thematic focus of projects that could be funded - it is neither prescriptive nor exhaustive:
- Understanding and addressing impacts of cost-of-living crisis
- Co-producing inclusive social change
- Equitable educational outcomes
- Addressing social class basis of unequal outcomes
- Age-related disparities
- Inequities in the justice system
- (Disruptive) technology and inequalities
