The past year has been an exciting period of innovation and growth for UCL Grand Challenges, with our programme now at the heart of UCL’s 2022-2027 Strategic Plan. Discover more about our evolved programme, its impact, and how you can get involved through the short videos below.

Launched in September 2023, our evolved programme introduces five new themes: Mental Health & Wellbeing, Climate Crisis, Data-Empowered Societies, Inequalities, and Intercultural Communication. These themes aim to maximise UCL's impact on the most pressing issues facing society today to help make real-world impacts.
Our world-leading academics, curious students, and outstanding staff position UCL perfectly to deliver a challenge-based programme.
