The catalyst fund organized a Sandpit, scheduled for the 30th of May 2024, that brought together academics, communities, and stakeholders to co-produce interdisciplinary knowledge on resilience and trauma-informed interventions for children and young people from migrant, refugee, and minority backgrounds. This initiative addressed the pressing challenges faced by marginalized childhoods, fostering cross-disciplinary discussions on innovative practices at various levels, including individual and societal. By centering community voices and utilizing diverse methodologies, the project aimed to develop sustainable interventions that effectively respond to the complex realities of trauma and resilience.
