Graduation Schedule and Eligibility

Get ready to celebrate our newest graduating class!

Please find below the schedule and eligibility guidelines for UCL Graduations in 2025, listed by Faculty. Dates have been confirmed for specific faculties and departments, and graduates who have expressed interest in attending on Portico have received their date and time of ceremonies accordingly. Please use the eligibility table to determine your graduation period- this has also been confirmed when you completed your Expression of Interest on Portico.

In mid-February, all graduates who completed their Expression of Interest were emailed directly to confirm their exact ceremony date and time, and with details on the graduation portal to book their student ticket and confirm their place*.

The graduation periods for 2025 will take place:

  • Monday 12 May - Friday 16 May
  • Monday 14 July
  • Monday 8 September - Friday 12 September

*Attendance at a graduation ceremony is subject to finalising registration on the graduation portal and your degree being conferred, if it hasn't been already. Please note that the expression of interest on Portico is not the final registration, and you must complete further steps in order to attend. We highly recommend to not book any travel or make arrangements until your award has been confirmed and you have booked a student ticket on the graduation portal.

Some Postgraduate (PG) courses will also graduate in the Undergraduate (UG) ceremonies, for students who have undertaken and passed reassessment.
