UCL staff elections to serve on UCL committees

Details of the UCL staff election process to serve on one of UCL's formal committees.

Any questions about staff elections to serve on Council, Academic Board and the other UCL committees identified here should be directed to Nick McGhee, Academic Services, Student and Registry Services.

Academic Services (within Student and Registry Services) is responsible for coordinating the election of UCL staff to serve on the following UCL committees that provide for the elected representation of UCL staff:


Academic Board

Elected non-professorial academic staff, teaching fellow staff and non-academic staff


Academic Committee

8 academic staff - including at least 1 professor and one non-professor from each School - elected by and from among the professorial and non-professorial academic staff members of Academic Board


Council

3 professorial and 3 non-professorial academic staff members of Academic Board


Education Committee

3 academic staff - including at least 1 professor and one non-professor - elected by and from among the professorial and non-professorial academic staff members of Academic Board


Library Committee

1 member of non-professorial academic staff, elected by and from the elected non-professorial academic staff members of Academic Board


Research Degrees Committee

3 academic staff - including at least 1 professor and one non-professor - elected by and from among the professorial and non-professorial academic staff members of Academic Board
