The UCL Institute for Global Health (IGH), is a member of TropEd, a network of international partner institutions for higher education in international health.
TropEd collaborates closely with institutions in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas in providing postgraduate education and training opportunities. Current TropEd students who wish to take IGH advanced/optional modules from January to May can download a TropEd application form and guidance notes below.
Our optional courses are intensive and generally follow a two week taught timetable followed by one week assessment preparation. Applicants are advised to check course details before finalising leave/travel dates.
Applicants should apply at least one month before the course commencement date. International applicants requiring a short term student visa should allow a further 4 weeks to arrange and receive their UK visa.
Availability of modules is subject to demand. Places are allocated to TropEd applicants on a first come first served basis from mid October.
