Postgraduate/PhD Employer Forum - Careers in UK & Global Health

7 June 2012

This type of event is usually aimed at PhD students only, but given the interest many masters students have in this area the course has been opened to all postgraduate students.

The aim of this event is to provide postgraduate students with the opportunity to hear from and network with employers from the UK & global health sector. A panel of speakers (many who hold a PhD) who work in organisations that cover health policy, public health education, health systems, health consultancy, health protection and surveillance and non-academic health research have been invited to talk about their sector, their career progression and the best routes into these positions. They will also give tips on how PhD and research students can use their qualifications and experiences to enter these fields.
