Dr Ana Correa Ossa
Dr Ana Correa Ossa is a Lecturer in Health Economics and Co-Director of the MSc in Health Economics and Decision Science at UCL. Her research tackles global health challenges, from health inequalities and infectious diseases to the economics of healthcare systems.
Ana works at the intersection of policy, econometrics, and public health, with projects on environmental impacts on health, supply chains, technology, and social protection. Passionate about teaching, she co-leads the Microeconomics for Health module and supervises MSc dissertations in health and development economics, equipping future health economists with the tools to drive real-world change.
Ana's current research projects include: Causes and potential solutions for pharmaceutical supply shortages, the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on adolescent smoking behvaiours and the acceptibility and design of social protection systems in Colombia.
Fun fact: Ana is a green belt in kickboxing and learnt English by watching Friends and listening to Bob Dylan.

Dr Rolando Leiva-Granados
Rolando Leiva-Granados is a Lecturer in Economics and Health Economics and Co-Director of the MSc in Health Economics and Decision Science at UCL. His research focuses on Applied Econometrics, Early Child Development, and the impact of social programmes like Conditional Cash Transfers.
With experience collaborating across NGOs, universities, and research institutes in Europe, Africa, and Latin America, Rolando brings a global perspective to his teaching and research. Rolando co-leads the Econometrics for Health module and supervises postgraduate dissertations on Health Economics and Applied Econometrics, inspiring future health economists.
Fun fact: Rolando is a keen salsa dancer and is fluent in Spanish, French and English.
