What is the role of China and the EU in global economic governance? Where do we see opportunities for enhanced collaboration? What are the main areas of contestation? To elaborate on these questions, the UCL’s Global Governance Institute (GGI), CEU San Pablo University Madrid and UCL Laws co-hosted a workshop on EU/China Economic Governance on 22 March 2019. Funded by a Jean Monnet Network grant, it brought together a multidisciplinary group of scholars from the EU and China to discuss global governance and regulation across issue areas such as trade, investment, competition, tax and the environment.
