Join us for an exclusive evening celebrating the launch of Robot-Proof: by Vivienne L'Ecuyer Ming, a theoretical neuroscientist, entrepreneur, author, and mother of two.
Vivienne has been featured in The Financial Times, The Atlantic, and The New York Times for her groundbreaking research and AI inventions, which have launched numerous companies and nonprofits focused on education, workforce, and health.
A self-described “professional mad scientist,” Vivienne founded The Human Trust to tackle some of the world’s most pressing problems. Her astonishing projects include AI systems to treat her son’s diabetes, predict manic episodes in bipolar sufferers, and reunite orphan refugees with extended family members. Vivienne also sits on the boards of multiple organisations, including UC Berkeley’s Neurotech Collider Hub and RFK Human Rights. In her free time, she writes science fiction and enjoys hiking with her wife and children.
The event will feature a lecture by Vivenne Ming, followed by a drinks reception where attendees are invited to continue to conversation.
Copies of Robot-Proof will be available for purchase, and you’ll have a chance to meet Vivienne Ming in person.
