Our panel session will include brilliant minds and aspiring leaders. Our panelists are MBA student Elsy Gomez Campos, Shehla Zaidi, Omar Butt, and Maria Bines. We also have Ulrika Charlotta Kreicbergs, who will be our keynote speaker for the night.

Speaker Bios:
Ulrika Charlotta Kreicbergs
UCL - Professor in Palliative Care for Children and Young People
Ulrika became a registered nurse in 1987. In 2000 she presented her PhD thesis entitled ”To Lose a Child to Cancer – A nation-wide study of parents’ experiences”. She completed post-doctoral studies at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Boston USA 2006-2007. For the ensuing two years, Ulrika participated in clinical work and teaching, while also continuing her research work at Karolinska Institutet. In 2009 she received funding from the Swedish Research Council and the Swedish Cancer Foundation enabling her to build her own research team. In 2014, she was the first to be appointed as a professor in palliative care for children and youth in the Nordic countries Ulrika has initiated what today is the Swedish Association for Paediatric Palliative Care. She has been actively involved in the Swedish Council for Palliative Care and in the development of the Swedish National Guidelines for Paediatric Palliative Care. She has served as a member of several research committees, and she currently serves as a member of the SMA Europe Scientific Advisory Board.
Professor Shehla Zaidi
UCL GBSH - Programme Lead, Global Healthcare Management.
As a seasoned Health Policy & Systems researcher and educator with a quarter-century of experience in LMICs, my expertise spans evidence generation, academic teaching, leadership capacity building, and policy advisory roles. Holding academic credentials from Aga Khan University in Karachi, Harvard T. Chan School of Public Health, and a PhD in Health Policy analysis from LSHTM, my research focuses on private sector engagement for Universal Health Coverage, multi-sector governance, and the political determinants of health across Pakistan, the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia. I am deeply involved in health reform evaluations, designing and piloting health reforms, with recent projects including private sector integration for immunization services in Pakistan's urban slums and evaluating donor aid alignment and financing models for disease control in EMRO and SEARO regions. My contributions extend to serving on global committees and practice communities with WHO Geneva, Alliance for Health Policy & Systems Research, WHO-EMRO, Countdown 2030, and the World Bank, showcasing a profound commitment to advancing health policy and systems research on a global scale.
Elsy Gomez Campos

With over 20 years in the NHS, I have cultivated a deep understanding of both clinical and non-clinical healthcare realms, enabling me to adeptly navigate and lead through its complexities. My leadership journey, motivated by personal experiences of racism, led to the founding of The UK BLACK PHARMACIST ASSOCIATION to combat inequalities and foster inclusivity. My approach to leadership is rooted in ethics and impact, aiming to inspire change and promote a culture of honesty and hard work. My diverse experiences across clinical settings, corporate sectors, and community services have honed my adaptability, quick learning, and communication skills, essential for effective collaboration and achieving collective goals. I am committed to values-based leadership, continuous personal growth, and making a positive impact, ready to bring my wealth of experience and passion to new leadership opportunities.
Maria Bines
Head of Google Cloud Platform Data at Endava
I specialize in the realm of Data and Artificial Intelligence. With over two decades of experience, I've dedicated myself to designing, building, operating, and fixing analytical solutions. My career began with my hands on the keyboard, but my recent successes have come from leading and collaborating with talented individuals across large and small teams, whether virtual or in-person. I have a natural inclination towards creativity, and I take great joy in working with others. My approach balances optimism and technology. Most importantly, I am driven by a desire to solve problems that can make a positive impact on our planet.
Omar Butt

This knowledge base enables me to evaluate and develop compelling value propositions for products involving multiple stakeholders. My personal strengths include empathy and effective communication, underpinned by a firm belief in the importance of understanding the customer and their business needs to drive success.
