UCL CFS research in The Guardian

2 October 2017

Professor Ruth Morgan and Dr Georgina Meakin are featured in The Guardian in a piece that highlights the issue of the interpretation of forensic science evidence.

They outline the importance of research that can offer a foundation for the interpretation of evidence in forensic reconstruction.  This research is critical but arguably drastically underfunded. Our vision at the CFS is to contribute excellent research that addresses these key issues so that forensic science offers robust, reliable, transparent and balanced evidence to inform investigations and the courts.
