Seong Kyu Choi
Seong has studied his PhD in the department of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering at University College London from 2007 to 2013 (under the supervision of Prof Muki Haklay since 2009). He is interested in ontology modelling and agent simulations to understand and explain various spatial interactions.
His PhD research deals with moving vehicles and their communications to support the transition towards Intelligent Transport Systems. A spatial ontology model was developed for the context model as well as the semantic messaging model of vehicular communications. Repast Simphony was adopted to simulate dynamic environments of vehicular communications.
He is writing the final two chapters of his PhD thesis and looking for a new job.
ontology, data modelling, geosemantics, vehicular communication, DSRC, agent-based modelling and simulation
