About the Lecture:
Sleep and physical activity are intrinsically linked behaviours thought to contribute to cognitive health and dementia risk. In this lecture, Dr Mikaela Bloomberg will examine the evidence for joint effects of sleep and physical activity on cognitive function during ageing and the challenges in this area of research. She will share findings from her most recent work which highlights the importance of sleep to maximise long-term cognitive benefits of physical activity.
