About the Speaker
Michael Webb
Michael Webb, Founding Member, Archigram, is an English architect and a founding member of Archigram, the 1960’s avant-garde neo-futurist architecture group. Some of their first projects included the famous Walking City, Plug-in City and Instant City, which proposed the use of pods, capsules, megastructures, inflatable or temporary components and other inventive uses of new technologies to rethink society and its forms of habitation. Michael teaches regularly at Cooper Union in New York and continues to work on his seminal designs for projects such as Sin City and Temple Island
