Why choose UCL Event Ticketing?
At UCL Event Ticketing we manage all aspects of event ticketing to ensure you can focus on the other aspects of organising and running your event. This includes ticket and booking pathway creation, sales management, and reconciliation.
We provide ticketing services to a range of different department faculties across UCL and beyond including the Provost office, the student union and departments and a wide range of external event producers. The range of events we look after is equally varied, including performances, book and product launches, conferences, alumni events, lectures and even staff socials!
Personalised booking system
At UCL Event Ticketing, we use a sophisticated and booking system, Spektrix, that is favoured by theatres and venues across the UK and US. It offers a seamless and secure customer booking experience, and has a range of customisable features that give us the flexibility to meet the demands for each individual event; including customisable pricing structures, bespoke ticket designs, customer questionaires and much more.
Reports and Analytics
We can produce a wide range of reports to allow you to both monitor sales, and also dig deeper into the analytics of your guests and attendees. Reports can either be automated, or available on demand via our reports portal giving you access to live sales data, and to accurately track the progress of your bookings.
We collect and store customer data securely, following GDPR regulations, and on request can ask for permissions to share customer contact details so that you are able to grow your own audiences and followers.
Advanced and professional communication
All customers receive booking confirmations and E-tickets via email, as well as having access to their own customer account online to update their personal information, and manage their bookings.
We also work with an integrated mailing system, Dot Digital, which allows us to create professional and branded email content to send to your guests with information about your event. This also allows us to monitor response to emails, including when mailings bounce, are opened, or clicked through.
Friendly and personable service
Our Ticketing Team are on hand to support any queries from both you and your customers. Based at the Bloomsbury Theatre on Gordon Street, we work hard to provide the best service we can. We are contactable by phone, by email and in person.
We believe that customer service should always be person focused to ensure that all customers get the best experience possible, and to ensure their needs are met at every step of the journey.

Mobile ticket integration
We now have a feature where your guests can choose to download their tickets to their Apple or Google wallet. This means they can also receive reminders on the day of the event with easy access to their tickets.
Pricing & income generation
You are able to set your own pricing structure for your event, and unlike most platforms and services we don't charge any additional booking fees to your customers or attendees. This means there are no extra or hidden costs for your guests.
Customers can either book online, over the phone or in person at our Box Office on Gordon street. Payments can be made by card, cash, cheque and even by inter-departmental transfer for other departments at UCL.
To help maximise the income from your event, we are also able to add on additional purchase options when setting up your event. This might include donations, merchandise or other additional costs such as refreshments or parking

This is taken as part of your financial settlement following the event. There are no ticket booking fees charged to customers. Events with no ticket cost are exempt from fees.
- All customer bookings are subject to our standard terms and conditions available online.
- Should your event be cancelled or materially change we are obliged by law to offer your customers a refund on their booking. Any extra costs attributed to this would be passed on. Any claims for lost travel or accommodation expenses by customers will be your responsibility to negotiate and manage.
- Should a customer initiate a charge-back of funds on their purchase for your event, we will pass on any additional processing charges incurred.
- By providing ticketing services we are not in any way responsible for the running, marketing or general management of your event.
- You are responsible for ensuring your event complies with all relevant UCL event policies, including those on external speakers.
