Offer holders will be invited to come and meet Academics and Professional Services staff from the School of European Languages, Culture and Society (SELCS) at a Post Offer Open Day.
Organise a post-offer call with a member of the department
If you have an offer to study with us in September and you'd like to talk to us about what it's like to be a student in our department, you can organise an audio or video call with one of our academic members of staff.
Once you receive an offer from UCL to study at the School of European Languages, Culture and Society (SELCS), we will invite you to attend one of our Post Offer Open Day events in either February or March.
The Post Offer Open Day is a chance for you to gain more insight into the programme you have applied for; to see a bit more of UCL, to meet some of the teaching staff and current students studying in SELCS, and to ask any questions you may have.
Deciding where to study is a big decision and it is important that you are confident in making your choices when it comes to ‘firming up’ on UCAS Track. We know you may be considering a number of options, so we recommend that you attend, even if you have visited UCL before.
All events take place on a Wednesday afternoon during February and March.
The dates for 2020/21 applicants are:
- 12th February 2020 - all combined language + language degrees, and all single honours degrees
- 26th February 2020 - all combined language + another discipline degrees
- 11th March 2020 - any BA combinations with SSEES (incl. degrees 'with History')
- 25th March 2020 - BA Language & Culture and BA Comparative Literature (incl. BA Comparative Literature with Year Abroad)
More details, including information on how to accept your invitation, will be e-mailed directly to our offer holders nearer the time.
