Every year, UCL runs a number of Summer Schools for Year 12** state school students. The Summer Schools offer a taste of studying a degree programme and of university life.
Our School has been running the Languages and Cultures Summer School since 2016. Our week-long programme includes language sessions, guided tours and guidance about how to apply to university. Throughout the week, students participating to our school have to engage with a mini-project on the broad topic of ‘What is (a) language’.
