Brazilian Translation Workshop on Monteiro Lobato's "Negrinha"

Join Prof. John Milton (USP), Dr Milena Ribeiro Martins (UFPR) and Emyr Humphreys for a translation workshop on Monteiro Lobato’s short story “Negrinha”. In this workshop, we will have the pleasure to compare and discuss two different translations of the short story produced by John and Emyr. 
The SELCS Brazilian Translation Club is a series of workshops in which translators, writers, students, researchers and enthusiasts of Brazilian literature meet to discuss the translation of Brazilian literature. 
This workshop is an extracurricular activity of the UCL UG programme in Portuguese and is open to the general public. Anyone who translates from and into Portuguese or has some knowledge of Portuguese is welcome.
