Yung-Hsuan is a current Laidlaw Scholar working on a project related to European regulations on Artificial Intelligence and EU-UK/US relations on data transfers under the supervision of Oliver Patel. With specific interests regarding policy analysis and data visualization at heart, he mainly helps out with AI and Big Data related research, literature reviews, policy briefings, and stakeholder engagement at the European Institute.
Other than sifting through policy literature, Yung-Hsuan pursues a Bachelor of Social Sciences (international relations stream) at The University of Hong Kong. He is keen on the future implication of artificial intelligence and the needed political instruments to unleash the power of AI. He is also invested in human rights, international issues, and international organizations as part of his studies.
