UCL Exhibition

From October 25th, 2023 to May 31st, 2024 Lost & Found was displayed on the UCL main campus in the south cloisters.

Lost & Found Display, UCL South Cloisters

Drawing on the interactive digital map of London developed by UCL European Institute, the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and the Bartlett Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis, with contributions from across the UCL community, ‘Lost & Found’ uncovers literary traces, revealing a Europe and a London of the imagination.

The exhibition featured the writings of Hans Christian Andersen, Giacomo Casanova, Joseph Conrad, Ananda Devi, Simonetta Agnello Hornby and many others.

The launch event featured speakers including His Excellency Pedro Serrano, EU Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Professor Alan Thompson, Pro Provost (London) and Dean of the Faculty of Brain Sciences, and Rosie Goldsmith, Director of the European Literature Network.
