Anton joined UCL in 2016 to study a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. Prior to joining UCL, he spent a year studying International Relations at MGIMO University in Moscow. His academic interests are centred on the interaction of politics and economics, and specifically on the impact of globalisation on the state.

He is a Laidlaw Scholar at the UCL European Institute where he is working on a research project on political culture and the Brexit negotiations.

Anton is an active debater and represented Slovakia at the World Schools Debating Championship in 2015.
