On Thursday 27 June a pop-up version of the European Institute’s Lost & Found exhibition, which brings to life the European Literary Map of London, featured at the UK Mission to the EU’s summer celebration, which took place at the Residence of the UK Ambassador to the EU, and this year highlighted literature and the arts to over 200 guests.

The appearance of the Lost & Found display in Brussels, is the first in a series of international transfers, made possible through a partnership with the Soft Power team at the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. The exhibition will also transfer to Madrid, Stockholm and Berlin, highlighting the longstanding and enduring importance of cultural ties between the EU and the UK.

Wherever possible, the display will also be used to further broader UCL objectives, from academic partnership development to alumni engagement and international student recruitment.
