Call for proposals: UCL-French Embassy funded arts, humanities and social sciences workshops
18 September 2018
Proposals are invited for funding of up to £2500 for collaborative workshops between UCL doctoral students or postdoctoral researchers and colleagues based in France, specifically focusing on research in arts, humanities or the social sciences, broadly conceived.
This co-operative scheme commenced in 2013 and has now been extended to July 2019.
Purpose
This component of UCL and the French Embassy's longstanding partnership aims to encourage junior and senior scholars to establish new directions for possible research collaborations - not only in their own areas of expertise, but also across disciplines.
The initiative seeks both to build on existing links and to stimulate new ones between UCL and French academic and Higher Education organisations, such as French universities, Grand Écoles and research organisations.
Value
Around £2,500 per workshop is available.
