Inside the Foreign Office: BBC Documentary featuring Caroline Wilson

Caroline Wilson, Europe Director at the Foreign Office and Member of the European Institute Advisory Board, features in a new BBC Documentary.

Inside the Foreign Office is a three-part BBC documentary series which first aired on 15 November 2018. The second episode, 'Brave New World', profiles the work of Caroline Wilson, who is a member of the European Institute's Advisory Board. 

The episode features Caroline Wilson and former Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson on their whistlestop tour from RAF Northolt to Lisbon and Paris. It profiles Caroline's work in giving strategic advice and guidance to high level officials, as they prepare for key diplomatic engagements. 

Caroline Wilson is Director (Europe) at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, a position she has held since October 2016. She was formerly HM Consul General to Hong Kong and Macao between 2012-16 and Minister Counsellor (Economic) at the British Embassy Moscow from 2008-12. She also worked as Private Secretary to the Foreign Secretary from 2004-6 and as First Secretary in the UK Permanent Representation to the EU.
