Following an 18-month period of extensive review and consultation triggered by the Provost's 20-year institutional development strategy, UCL 2034, plans for a renewed Grand Challenges programme will be introduced to the UCL community at a town meeting on Thursday 21 April 2016, 2.30 - 4.30pm. Building on the existing four GCs, the renewed GC programme, 'Grand Challenges 2021', introduces two new GCs with current working titles Transformative Technology and Justice and Equality. The new GCs will officially launch at the beginning of the next academic year, 1 October 2016.
