What to Expect
Explore
Discover how literature has shaped London’s cultural and linguistic landscape, and the feelings, experiences, and memories of those who have passed through or called the city home.
Contribute
Add your own voice to the map by sharing your thoughts on the texts, places, and personal connections that resonate with you. How has London shaped you? What stories—real or imagined—feel tied to your experience of the city?
Share
Take part in short filmed conversations reflecting on London, literature, migration, and belonging. Whether you have a favourite book that captures the spirit of the city or a personal story to share, we’d love to hear from you (participation is optional!).
Meet the Team
Chat with the project leads and EISPS students working on the European Literary Map. Learn about the research behind the map, how different narratives shape our understanding of place, and how you can get involved in mapping the literary and lived experiences of London.
