About the Speakers

Dan Hadary

Dan is a British diplomat, currently serving as Second Secretary Foreign Policy in the UK Mission to the EU, focusing in particular on the Eastern Neighbourhood and the Western Balkans. He was previously posted to British Embassy Berlin as Second Secretary Digital and Economic Affairs. He has also covered Russian and Indian foreign policy as well as DPRK and Latin American sanctions when working in London. Prior to FCDO, Dan briefly worked as an associate for GQR, a political and market research consultancy. He is an alumni of UCL’s MSc Public Policy programme (2017-18).

Noura Rouissi

Noura works within the EU Delegation to the U.K. in London, where she leads on Transport and Fisheries matters in the EU-UK relationship. She was part of the European Commission UK Task Force, negotiating the transport parts of the EU-UK TCA. Noura worked extensively on EU aviation policy within the European Commission, notably on airlines’ licences, airport regulations, ICAO matters, and air passenger rights. She holds a Master's degree in EU Law (University of Bordeaux) and an LL.M. degree in Air & Space Law (University of Leiden).
