About the Speakers
Tea Zyberaj
Robert Schuman Trainee at European Parliament
Tea Zyberaj is currently completing the Schuman Traineeship at the European Parliament, within the Directorate-General for External Policies of the Union (DG EXPO) – Enlargement, Western Europe and Northern Cooperation Unit. She holds an MSc in European Politics and Policy from UCL and a BSc in International Relations from the University of Surrey. She has previously worked as a Research Assistant at the Centre for Britain and Europe and as an EU Project Officer at a consulting firm in Cyprus.

Haris Avdic Pejicic
Strategic Communications Officer at Western Balkans Task Force (European External Action Service)
Haris Avdic Pejicic works at the Western Balkans Task Force in the European External Action Service (EEAS). The Task Force addresses foreign information manipulation and interference (FIMI) threats - including disinformation - in the region. The Task Force’s acumen is specific to challenges arising from malign narratives that affect directly the EU in the Western Balkans, as well as the region’s accession path to the Union. Prior to that, he worked in the European Commission as economic and trade officer in the Kosovo desk at DG NEAR. Before joining the institutions in Brussels, he was a due-diligence and investment analyst in Latin America and the Caribbean for major global companies.

Magnus Lund Nielsen
EU Politics Reporter at Euractiv
Magnus Lund Nielsen is a politics journalist with pan-European newsmedia Euractiv. Based in Brussels, he covers European politics, focusing on Brussels media, the rule of law, democracy and Greenland. Previously, he served as a press advisor in the European Parliament and worked as a public affairs consultant and journalist in Copenhagen.
