Nick Clegg: 'Brexit - A Challenge for Europe and the UK'

Former Deputy Prime Minister and Leader of the Liberal Democrats, Nick Clegg MP, discusses the effects of Brexit on Britain and Europe. This event is organised by the UCL School of Public Policy.

Once the UK government has given formal notice of its intent to leave the EU, there will ensue intensive negotiations about the terms of withdrawal, and the UK's future relationship with the EU. Nick Clegg's experience of working in the European Commission, of leading trade talks there, and then of being a Member of the European Parliament make him uniquely well qualified to talk about the negotiations not just from a British perspective, but from how they will be viewed in the other 27 member states.
