A reflection on how the rise of the BRICS countries impacts the standing of the West and Europe in the world, how a world with negligible Western influence would look like and how likely the emergence of such a world is.

Speakers

This event will be followed by:
Opening of our Exhibition and Awards Ceremony for the 'Europe in London' Photography Competition at Wilkins North Cloisters, from 7pm

London's multicultural environment is the forefront of European diversity. The theme 'Europe in London' explores how Londoners from different places across the world perceive Europe.

UCL's students had the opportunity to express what Europe means to them and what makes them feel as a part of this community.

We all have a picture in mind when we say "This is Europe". It could be a place, a person, an atmosphere, anything. Find out what our photographers saw…

The photos will be exhibited in the Print Room Café from Monday, 4th March.
