Department of Political Science


UCL’s Department of Political Science & School of Public Policy offers a uniquely stimulating environment for the study of all fields of politics, including international relations, political theory, human rights, public policy-making and administration.

European & International Social & Political Studies


European Social and Political Studies (ESPS) and International Social and Political Studies (ISPS) are challenging, flexible, diverse four-year programmes at a university known for academic innovation, open access and the quality of its teaching. Students gain not only from UCL’s world-class teaching system and the insights of its renowned humanities, language and social sciences scholars, but also from the expertise of their European and international counterparts.

Department of Economics


The Department of Economics is an international, research-led community at UCL Economics and you'll learn to understand and debate how to address the most pressing problems in society. You'll study contemporary topics such as globalisation, the regulation of public utilities and policy choices in developing countries.

 

Faculty of Laws


UCL Laws is an agenda-setting community of legal scholars: outward-looking to its core, with a deep and pervasive interest in “laws” (plural), including those of other jurisdictions and international and European law. It is a faculty which pursues international research collaboration with other outstanding institutions; which enables its students to study abroad and has highly selective dual-degree programmes; and which nurtures a global network of alumni.

School of Slavonic and East European Studies


The School of Slavonic and East European Studies (SSEES) is one of the UK's largest institutions for research and teaching on Russia, the Baltics, and Central, Eastern and South-East Europe.

School of European Languages, Culture and Society


The School of European Languages, Culture and Society (SELCS) offers the widest range of language-based degrees in the UK, with programmes in Dutch, French, German, Italian, Scandinavian, Iberian and Latin American Studies as well as cross-cutting degrees.
