The Bar Association for Commerce, Finance and Industry (BACFI)
Dr Alan Brener, Deputy director of the UCL Centre for Ethics and Law, is due to speak at an event hosted online by The Bar Association for Commerce, Finance and Industry (BACFI) at 6pm on Thursday 25th March 2021. He will be speaking on the role of the professional employee in business and the ethical issues posed. This is relevant to lawyers, accountant, compliance officers etc and includes their personal responsibility for good corporate governance and ensuring that those that raise concerns are heard and the problems they identify are acted upon. Also speaking will be Charlotte Pope-Williams an Associate at Pinsent Masons and member of the Employed Barristers’ and Young Bar Committees of the Bar Council.
