Estates Electrical Services Policy and Electrical Safety Rules Handbook

These documents detail UCL policy to achieve safety in the use of electricity and electrical equipment in compliance with its legal and statutory obligations and the safety rules to be followed by those UCL staff or contractors working on the estate.

The University recognises its statutory obligations under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, The Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999 and The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 to identify and control the risks to students, staff & visitors from exposure to electrical dangers.
