Event Catering

Sodexo manages UCL's catering, vending and hospitality services across the Bloomsbury campus through its Food Federation brand.

The Sodexo team offers UCL a range of food and drink services. These include the refectory in the Wilkins Building, where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and evening service, as well as a number of coffee shops around the campus.

If you are planning an event, Sodexo also offers a wide range of hospitality services which include: 

  • refreshments
  • pastries and treats
  • sandwiches
  • platters
  • bites and nibbles
  • canapés
  • hot and cold fork buffets
  • fine dining
  • wine
  • conference packages.

Delivered hospitality

This is a 'drop off and go' service to the UCL location of your choice. All items for this service are recyclable disposables so we maintain a sustainable hospitality service. We have a dedicated team collecting all disposables and water bottles after your event has finished.

Serviced hospitality

This service is for clients who prefer that their catering is presented on china, silverware and glassware and served by our dedicated hospitality team.
Please be aware that due to the logistics of this service, not all of our serviced menus are available throughout UCL.

Bespoke hospitality

This service is for clients whose events are a little more complex in planning and require the guidance of our onsite event managers. We will tailor the menus and event service just for you, which will help create the perfect dining experience for you and your guests.

Sustainability

Sodexo is committed to reducing and limiting the impact its business has on the environment and has wide ranging sustainability initiatives relating to waste, water, energy, greenhouse gas emissions reductions and sustainable procurement.

Sodexo is continually looking to make any improvements in relation to reducing, and where possible preventing, the use of plastic, including single use plastic packaging, and aims to halve per capita food waste at retail and consumer levels and reduce food losses along production and supply chains by 2030.
