Whether you're passionate about fairness, curious about local planning and urban design, or just want your voice heard, there are two great opportunities to get involved — both happening right on campus.

Camden Council is inviting UCL students to share their views on the Bloomsbury Vision Public Realm Strategy.

Drop-in to a Pop-Up at the UCL Student Centre

On Thursday, 20 November from 11am to 3pm Camden Council is holding a drop-in event at the Student Centre mezzanine.

Students can chat with members of Camden’s Design & Place team, share their thoughts about the area, and learn more about upcoming projects. No sign-up is required - just drop in between lectures, grab a snack, and have your say.

Dive Deeper in a Workshop

For those who want to dig deeper, on Thursday, 27 November from 2–4pm the Camden team is also hosting a workshop at the UCL ICH Wolfson Centre.

This is a more structured opportunity to contribute ideas, meet fellow students, and gain insight into how public spaces are shaped. Light refreshments will be provided.

To apply to attend the workshop, you’ll need to fill out a short participation form by 11:59pm on Thursday, 20 November. Spaces are limited, and selected participants will receive a confirmation email by 2pm on Monday, 24 November.

Whether you’re a seasoned urbanist or just care about the spaces you study and socialise in, this is your chance to help shape Bloomsbury’s future.

Can’t attend either session?

That’s okay! Visit Camden Council’s Commonplace webpage to read more about the Bloomsbury Vision and send your thoughts.
