Restricted access to Malet Place on Saturday 26 July

Between 7am and noon on Saturday 26th July, a crane lift will be in operations in Malet Place, outside the DMS Watson Building. This is to replace a piece of air handling equipment on the roof of the building.

Works to replace air handling equipment on Saturday 26 July means that Malet Place will be closed between 7am and noon on Saturday 26 July.

The crane will be set up outside the Science Library directly between Darwin Walk and the archway into Medawar Courtyard. There will therefore be no pedestrian access between the lower and upper parts of Malet Place while this work is taking place.

DMS Watson, Petrie Museum and Foster Court (excluding the Maintenance Operations basement) will also be closed for the duration, opening again at noon. All other buildings accessed from Malet Court (from either end) will maintain normal weekend operating hours.
