Estates IT is an Information Services Division (ISD) team embedded within UCL Estates with responsibility for UCL Estates informations systems.
These include UCL's integrated workplace management system FAMIS, which is used across UCL Estates to assist in the management of space, assets, maintenance and facilities services, and StarRez, which is used by UCL Student Accommodation to manage applications, bookings and room allocations and to provide a self-service online portal for students.
The team's role is to:
Work with UCL Estates stakeholders to define business processes and requirements
Develop and enhance the Division's business systems to support both strategic and operational objectives and deliver value
Provide support to staff in their use of UCL Estates business systems
Support the reporting requirements of UCL Estates and external users of UCL Estates business systems

Accessing Files and Folders
If you are a member of Estates staff or contractor and do not have permission to access a file or folder on the W drive, please contact the Estates Computer Rep for your team and provide details of the access you require. Your Computer Rep will then make the request to the ISD Service Desk on your behalf.
