UCL Inclusion Awards 2026: shortlist announced

UCL’s Equality, Diversity & Inclusion team are delighted to announce the shortlist for UCL’s Inclusion Awards 2026!

This year, we received around 100 nominations, recognising the inspiring work of UCL staff and students who are driving forward equality, diversity, and inclusion across the institution.

With six award categories, the Inclusion Awards 2026 celebrate a wide range of impactful contributions from colleagues and students alike. Our dedicated judging panels carefully reviewed each nomination and selected an exceptional shortlist in each category.

This year also marks the introduction of a new category, the ‘Community Impact Award’, recognising individuals or teams whose current EDI beaconing work strengthens UCL’s long-term ambitions and builds on 200 years of institutional growth towards a more inclusive future. A shortlist for this award has been selected by one of the judging panels, with the winner to be chosen by members of UCL’s EDI Community of Practice.

The full list of nominees for each award can be found here.

The winners will be revealed at our highly anticipated awards ceremony on 8 July 2026. We look forward to celebrating these remarkable achievements and the individuals and teams making a meaningful difference across UCL.
