During the last term, students will be offered a placement in an academic, clinical or professional (e.g. NGO, charity) setting which will last for a minimum of one week and a maximum of 6 months. In addition, throughout the Masters students are provided with opportunities of voluntary placements in Research groups within the Department to gain work experience.

Clinical placements: Imperial Healthcare NHS, Renal Department at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, Pain Management Centre UCLH, Smokers' & Weight Clinic at Queen Mary
Academic placements: Centre for Outcomes Research and Effectiveness (CORE) UCL, Department of Practice and Policy UCL, Mental Health Care Unit UCL, Centre for Health Informatics UCL
Industry placements: Headspace, Roche, National Institute for Health and Care Excellence
Government placements: Department of Health, Public Health England, International Longevity Centre
3rd Sector placements: Contact a Family, Cancer Research UK, Doctors of the World, Weight Concern
