5-day Qualitative Research Methods Course - November 2018

PLEASE NOTE: THE NOVEMBER COURSE IS NOW FULL, BUT WE ARE OFFERING THE SAME COURSE AGAIN IN THE SPRING TERM. PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION ON THE JANUARY 2019 COURSE.

This week of sessions aims to equip delegates with the knowledge and skills to understand, design and conduct high quality qualitative research.

By attending all five days you will gain a clear understanding of the principles of qualitative research as well as practising skills including interviewing, running a focus group, data analysis and developing and presenting a research protocol.

There is about an hour of reading required in advance of each day course, to help delegates get the most out of the course.  As far as possible, the day is tailored to the research that participants are planning/conducting at the time of the course.

All courses will be from 9.00am to 5.00pm.

Note: The course in November 2018 will not count towards an MSc qualification; if you are an MSc student at UCL and wish to take this course as one of your modules, please see January course 2019 and read FAQs.
