Student Accommodation

Students need to make their own accommodation arrangements  for the duration of their GP Assistantship placement.

Eligible students can apply for reimbursement of their accommodation fees from the NHS Bursary Scheme.

Students not eligible for the NHS Bursary, can apply to the Department of Primary Care and Population Health for reimbursement of up to £400 per student. However, this option applies only to students allocated to UCL-linked practices.

Students not eligible for the NHS Bursary, and based at an independent practice (e.g. not UCL-linked), can apply for limited assistance via UCL Medical School's Hardship Funds, if they are experiencing severe financial problems. Please contact Student Support Office for more details.
